USO Discover Germany: Trip to Burg Eltz

Join us as we visit this stunning medieval castle nestled in the Eltz Forest near the Mosel River Valley. This extraordinary castle has been owned and cared for by the same family from when it was built until today, and many of the original furnishings of the past eight centuries still remain in place. The castle towers high on a rock in the center of a gorgeous hiking area that offers unbeatable views of the castle upon approach. Our guided tour will give you all the facts and history that have drawn visitors from all over the world, while allowing you time to also see the Treasury and Armory with their world-class artworks. You will also be able to enjoy one of the on-site cafés for a bite or drink (not included) before heading back to Panzer.

Meet the bus at the Panzer PX parking lot, then we will drive to the castle. You can walk down the paved path or through the wooded trail to reach the castle. The trip includes your transportation and entrance into the castle. Please bring Euro for any other purchases.
